Very Great Headphones - Wireless Voip Headset Review

By Alexander Cox

He has done a disservice to his company, in my opinion. In conclusion, you won't be disappointed with the quality of sound and comfort of the 180's -- top notch. I haven't encountered any interference to the headphone system caused by other appliances (wireless telephones and Wi-Fi) in my house. Nor have I encountered any interference to the other appliances caused by the headphone system. To do this, with the base and headset both in the off/standby mode, press and hold the on/off buttons on both units for approximately seven seconds. If you find that only one of your headsets will work at a time, inspect the base and see if the bottom light is flashing more than once or only once. The Sennheiser RS 180 Headsets are one of the best pair of headphones ever owned. The sound qualities of the headphones are outstanding.

Long lasting rechargeable battery Earpieces padding made of high quality cloth, but it is an attraction for dust, small particles and body moisture. I previously had a pair of Sennheiser 120's and upgraded to the 180 to add a 2nd headphone. In my discussion with the Sennheiser rep, I pointed out this reviewer's comment about this and the rep said to just turn down the TV. After I said that wasn't an option, he then stated that the 180's won't behave any different than the 130's. But regular pop or rock tunes work just fine, same goes for video games and movies, and that's good enough for me. Straight forward setup, great sound! Overall, I've been really happy with this purchase. First, it was really easy to set up the headphone system.

I would even say that in some instances the quality is better than what I hear normally through my speakers. I was a little concerned about purchasing wireless headphones and the effect it would have on the quality, I would say it is not a concern any more. In an effort to make the units sleek, there is almost no tactile or color differential to highlight any button on either the headphones or the base. Again, we invented a solution which works for us, but the whole headphone unit seems to be designed more for appearance than ease of use. The headphones are comfortable though I would like a bit more padding spanning the entire headband. The buttons on the headphones that control power, volume and balance (handy if you have asymmetrical hearing deficits) are too small and flat.

The headphones presented a very wide soundstage with ample presence but not too much "air". As I stated above these are very warm sounding headphones.

I live in an apartment building, so can't watch TV or listen to music very loudly without disturbing my neighbors. I've been waiting for some time to buy some quality wireless headphones that are lossless and affordable.

I don't know why this Sennheiser rep, whose name I won't reveal but who sounded like he was in the know, or should have been, couldn't simply be honest with me. While he did achieve his objective of getting me to try the 180's, he is also now responsible for a returned set of 180's and this negative review.
